Foodland Super Market, Ltd. is Hawaii's largest locally owned and operated grocery retailer, with 31 stores and over 3,400 employees across the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island.

Founded in 1948 by Maurice J. "Sully" Sullivan, the company has grown from its first store in Honolulu's Market City to become a cornerstone of Hawaii's retail landscape.

The company operates under several banners, including Foodland, Foodland Farms, and Sack N Save, each catering to different customer preferences.

Foodland Farms offers an upscale shopping experience with a focus on organic and natural products, prepared meals, and a full-service wine bar.

In 1995, Foodland introduced the Maika'i program, Hawaii's first frequent shopper program, which now boasts over 250,000 active members.

This program allows customers to earn points for rewards such as free products, instant savings, and HawaiianMiles.

The company also launched the Give Aloha program in 1999, focusing on supporting non-profit organizations throughout Hawaii.

Through this donation-matching program, Give Aloha has raised over $34.4 million for local non-profit organizations.

Foodland's flagship store reopened at Ala Moana Center in 2016, offering an exciting and reimagined grocery shopping experience.

The store features food offerings prepared by in-store chefs, The Bar at R. Field Wine Company, concierge services, and more.

In 2020, Foodland expanded its offerings with the opening of KAHALA MKT. by Foodland, providing curated grocery shopping and food experiences, creative grab-and-go cuisine, and a full-service restaurant and bar.
