Damar Services, established in 1967, is a leading provider of comprehensive services for individuals with developmental, behavioral, and intellectual disabilities. With over five decades of experience, Damar is dedicated to helping children and adults lead remarkable lives by offering a wide range of specialized programs and support systems.

Comprehensive Services Offered by Damar Services

Residential and Community-Based Treatment: Damar provides 24-hour supervised care through its main campus and community group homes, offering a total of 193 beds. These services cater to individuals requiring varying levels of support, from staff-secure environments to more independent living situations.

Autism Services: Damar offers a full range of accredited applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapeutic interventions across Indianapolis, from initial diagnosis to intensive ABA assessments that develop individualized treatment programs tailored to each child's needs.

Educational Services: Damar operates two schools: the Damar Public Charter Academy and the Damar Private Academy. These institutions provide specialized education for students facing delays related to autism, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental challenges.

Outpatient Behavioral Health Services: A team of psychologists, behaviorists, and therapists works on campus and in the community, providing individual counseling and support to children, adults, and families to overcome barriers and live productive lives.

Foster Care Services: Damar offers foster care services, providing support and care for children in need.

Community-Based and Family Preservation Services: Damar supports families and individuals in their communities through targeted preservation services.
