CENTRAL AMUSEMENT INTERNATIONA

Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is a prominent amusement park development and management company headquartered in Boonton, New Jersey. Established in 2002, CAI specializes in planning, developing, and operating amusement parks and entertainment venues. It places a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and community engagement.

History and Early Ventures

In 2003, CAI launched its first venture, Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, New York City. This seasonal amusement park offered a variety of rides and attractions. It catered to families and visitors seeking entertainment in the heart of Manhattan.

Expansion and Development

Building on this success, CAI expanded its operations to Coney Island, Brooklyn, in 2010. Partnering with Zamperla, a leading ride manufacturer, CAI developed Luna Park, a modern amusement destination that revitalized the historic Coney Island area.

In addition to Luna Park, CAI operates Scream Zone, a thrill-seeker's amusement park that introduced the first roller coasters to Coney Island in over 80 years.

The company also manages the iconic Cyclone Roller Coaster, a historic wooden coaster that has been a staple of Coney Island since 1927.

Community Engagement

CAI's commitment to community involvement is demonstrated through its partnership with local organizations. Alessandro Zamperla, President and CEO of CAI, serves on the board of the Alliance for Coney Island.
