Other

Burial Beer Co. is a craft brewery founded in 2013 by friends Tim Gormley, Doug Reiser, and Jess Reiser in Asheville, North Carolina. The trio, who met in Seattle, were inspired by the city's vibrant craft beer scene and decided to establish their own brewery.

They chose Asheville for its rich brewing heritage and vibrant community. The brewery's name and brand are deeply influenced by the culture of New Orleans, where Doug and Jess had previously lived.

In New Orleans, funeral processions are transformed into lively parades filled with music, singing, and dancing, symbolizing a celebration of life. This cultural perspective shapes Burial Beer's approach to their products and experiences, emphasizing mindfulness and introspection.
