About bartaco
Bartaco is an American restaurant chain specializing in upscale street-style food. It draws inspiration from the laid-back beach cultures of Brazil, Uruguay, and Southern California. Founded in 2010 by Andy Pforzheimer and Sasa Mahr-Batuz, the first location opened in Port Chester, New York.
The restaurant's design features a white-washed interior, woven basket light fixtures, and a central bar. This creates a coastal ambiance reminiscent of a South American beach.
The menu at Bartaco offers a variety of street-style tacos, rice bowls, and other Mexican-inspired dishes. Popular items include Baja Fish Tacos, Crispy Rock Shrimp Tacos, and Roasted Duck Tacos.
Bartaco also serves sides such as grilled corn, plantains, and guacamole, plus a selection of wines and beers to complement meals.
