Other
Baltusrol Golf Club, established in 1895 by Louis Keller, is a prestigious private 36-hole golf club located in East Orange, NJ, USA, approximately 20 miles west of New York City. The club is renowned for its rich history and significant contributions to the sport of golf.
History and Design
The club's name honors Baltus Roll, a farmer who once owned the land where the club now stands. In 1918, renowned golf course architect A.W. Tillinghast was commissioned to design two championship courses: the Upper and Lower Courses.
These courses, collectively known as the "Dual Courses," were groundbreaking at the time and have been meticulously preserved to maintain their original design.

Notable victories include Jack Nicklaus in 1967 and 1980, where his 1967 performance is often cited as one of the greatest shots in U.S. Open history on the 18th hole. The club has also hosted the U.S. Women's Open, U.S. Amateur, and PGA Championships, solidifying its reputation as a premier venue for professional golf.
