Salary: $100,000–$150,000 a year

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday–Friday, with the possibility of overtime beyond 40 hours per week

Data Scientist Duties & Responsibilities

Transform raw data into a suitable format for analysis, ensuring organization and accessibility

Correlate similar data points to uncover meaningful trends and patterns
Utilize algorithmic, machine learning, artificial intelligence and statistical tools for data interpretation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract insights and support strategic decision-making
Contribute to strategic planning, testing and deployment of advanced data science processes and techniques
Ensure the highest level of data quality and availability to meet organizational needs
Present findings in a clear and engaging way to assist in decision-making across various business objectives

Data Scientist Experience Requirements & Skills

Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role
Demonstrated success in collecting, analyzing and interpreting large datasets
Familiarity with innovative and experimental frameworks for data collection
Proficiency in building tools and systems to automate data collection processes
Experience in generating reports and presentations for communicating data-driven insights
Proficiency in algorithmic, machine learning, artificial intelligence and statistical tools
Technical proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R or SQL
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to planning and decision-making
High attention to detail and dedication to maintaining data quality
Ability to present complex findings in a clear and engaging way
Strong organizational and project management skills

Data Scientist Education & Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline
Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field is a plus
Proven experience and success in relevant analytical roles may be considered as a qualification
