The Breakfast Cook position at Aperture Hotels is a vital role responsible for preparing food items in strict accordance with established recipes and standards, ensuring each meal meets high expectations in flavor and presentation. The Breakfast Cook must maintain a clean and organized workstation, follow safe and sanitary practices, and provide personalized, friendly service to guests. The Breakfast Cook also plays an essential role in maintaining the highest safety and security standards for guests, employees, and hotel assets, with responsibility for understanding fire alarm systems and evacuation procedures. Physical demands include standing or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in varying environmental conditions.   • responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow employees and hotel assets
  • dependable transportation available
  • physical ability to bend, reach, kneel, push, stretch, lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds
  • able to stand or walk for 8 hours
  • able to work in extreme conditions such as heat and cold
  • able to maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and person

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of fundamental principles and procedures of food preparation, short orders and banquet food service
  • able to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person
  • organized, honest, works well with others, and has an outgoing personality
  • able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures
