Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work full-time with 4-5 shifts per week including weekends and holidays
  • availability for varied shifts between 6:30 am and 4:30 pm
  • reliable punctuality and attendance
  • willingness to adhere to company dress code
  • passion for coffee and excellent customer service
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capability to handle cash transactions
  • basic math skills
  • team-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in customer service or retail preferred
  • experience working in a food service environment preferred
  • experience using a Point of Sale system
  • reputation for providing great service to guests and co-workers

Job Duties

  • Greets and assists guests with enthusiasm and high energy
  • brews and discusses all brewing methods for teas and coffees
  • prepares espresso-based drinks including milk steaming and drink construction
  • tastes and scores coffee at least once per shift and logs results
  • adjusts coffee to maintain quality taste
  • continually improves personal coffee skills and knowledge
  • handles monetary transactions and sales using Point of Sale system
  • follows opening, closing, and procedural checklists
  • restocks and rotates products
  • learns and shares basics of coffee roasting process and production schedule
  • recognizes and communicates errors and potential quality issues
  • assists in keeping dining and work areas clean and sanitary
  • participates in financial performance measurements
  • attends and contributes to huddles, meetings, and company events
  • arrives on time for shifts, meetings, and classes
  • adheres to dress code standards
  • demonstrates passion for great coffee and excellent service
