Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, lift and bend for up to 8 hours with breaks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to work with repetitive motion including fine manipulation of hands and fingers
- Availability to work 40 hours a week from 4 pm to 12 am including weekends and holidays
- Full availability in October, November and December
- No extra time off during peak months
- Passion for baking and dedication to quality
Job Qualifications
- Education, baking experience or training in the culinary field preferred but not required
- Passion for baking as a long-term career
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop artisan baking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically able to perform job duties including standing, lifting, bending, and fine hand manipulation
Job Duties
- Measuring ingredients to make sour cream coffee cake
- Packaging and labeling ginger jump up cookies
- Weighing batter into pans for magic brownies
- Washing and chopping apples for apple pies
- Rolling cinnful cinnamon rolls
- Sorting croissants for wholesale customers
