Job Requirements
- Four 10-hour shifts per week between 12am and 10am
- flexible schedule with weekend availability preferred
- holiday availability
- full availability in November and December with no extra time off
- can work weekends and holidays
- 3 days off per week
- valid Michigan driver’s license and good driving record
- can lift 70 pounds repeatedly
- able to acquire valid chauffeur’s license
- valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain after hire
Job Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver’s license
- good driving record
- able to acquire valid chauffeur’s license
- able to obtain valid DOT Medical Card after hire
- experience driving a delivery truck preferred but not required
- ability to lift 70 pounds repeatedly
- excellent communication skills
- positive attitude
- flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Loads and unloads delivery truck for assigned route
- drives Bakehouse 16' box truck to deliver baked goods in the Southeast Michigan area
- handles all products with love and care
- delivers orders to customers in a timely and safe manner
- adheres to the Zingerman's Guide to Good Driving and follows all Michigan driving laws
- gives excellent service to other drivers on the road and customers
