Job Requirements
- Maintain a DOT clearance
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial license with Tank Endorsement
- Have minimum two years commercial driving experience
- Be eligible to be added to company insurance
- Ability to operate vehicles with GVWR of 26,001 lbs or more
- Arrive on time and prepared to work
- Wear professional appearance
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate safeguards
- Demonstrate effective communication with management and peers
- Be organized, independent, self-motivated, enthusiastic, dependable, flexible
- Participate in company training and communication efforts
- Maintain positive, professional relationships in the workplace
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Tank Endorsement
- Minimum of two years commercial driving experience operating vehicles with GVWR of 26,001 lbs or more
- Knowledge of waste disposal procedures at treatment plants
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in changing environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated dependability and accuracy in work performance
Job Duties
- Delivers portable sanitation units and other portable equipment to designated customer sites
- Services portable sanitation units by pumping holding tanks
- Services other portable equipment at customer sites as needed
- Maintains a current knowledge of waste disposal procedures at regional Treatment Plants
- Completes Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Reports daily
- Maintains pumper truck by checking lights, tires, mirrors, fuel level, water, oil temperatures, and cleans vacuum pumps
- Assists with yard work and facility maintenance as needed
- Maintains facility and yard cleanliness
- Washes restroom units inside and out
- Washes company vehicles as needed
- Communicates with customers in a clear, professional, and efficient manner
- Redirects customer inquiries to appropriate personnel
- Performs all other duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
