Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED
  • reliable transportation
  • valid Ohio driver’s license and car insurance
  • fewer than 6 points in the last three years on motor vehicle record
  • ability to push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching

  • ability to supervise and lead a team
  • willingness to complete training and certification courses

Job Duties

  • Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of their life
  • completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment
  • providing personal care assistance
  • fostering increased independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety
  • overseeing and guiding staff as a team lead
  • ensuring compliance with care and safety protocols
