Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- capacity to perform frontline work in various settings including schools, public spaces, offices, and distressed communities
- comfort with youth work, particularly engaging vulnerable youth
- willingness to work evening and weekend hours as needed
- ability to perform light physical work including climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- exposure to outdoor climate and diverse terrain
- acceptance of LT’s policies and procedures as a condition of employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- capacity to perform frontline work in various settings such as schools, public spaces, offices, and distressed communities
- comfort with youth work including engagement with vulnerable youth
- ability to work collaboratively with youth, community partners, and multidisciplinary teams
- knowledge of community resources and services
- strong communication skills including written, oral, and listening abilities
- experience working with at-risk youth and applying positive youth development principles
- cultural sensitivity and respect for Hawaiian culture
- ability to remain calm and controlled under pressure
- commitment to ethical practices and embodying organizational values
Job Duties
- Collaborate with the Olino Pathways Team to support activities and events across multiple disciplines including Hula, Contemporary Dance, Hip Hop, and Aerial Dance
- work directly with youth involved in programming providing guidance and support
- assist with program planning and monitoring creative spaces such as the Dance Studio and adjacent lounge and studio areas
- assist with opening, closing, and monitoring of facilities to ensure a safe and inclusive environment
- support pilot projects in collaboration with partner organizations
- contribute to developing special events, workshops, and open houses to enhance engagement
- assist with transportation as needed
- provide administrative support ensuring efficient coordination and documentation of program activities
- demonstrate cultural sensitivity and ensure programs are culturally relevant
- assist in collecting data and preparing reports to assess program impact
- assist with outreach efforts to engage the local community and encourage participation in arts programming
- accept new assignments, help team members, learn new skills, and strive to improve team and organization results
- work evening and weekend hours as required
