Job Requirements
- Bachelor's of science or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities for youth and families
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in safe and organized manner
- Ability to manage and motivate staff
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Experience working with diverse groups
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's of science or equivalent
- Must possess CPR and First Aid certification
- Knowledge of Outlook internet applications and office equipment
- Must have knowledge of age-appropriate activities and enjoy working with all age groups
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with members guests clients and employees
- Must possess excellent communication skills including verbal written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to project voice and gain cooperation from young members
- Knowledge of emergency role procedures
- Must work safely organized and prudently
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds cultures and education levels
- Excellent team player with ability to work hands on in fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Assist in developing and administering a diverse range of youth and family-focused programs including recreational activities seasonal camps and family-friendly events
- Supervise a team of youth activity counselors and camp counselors providing training guidance and support
- Assist in the day-to-day management of events ensuring all logistics are in place act as on-site point of contact during events
- Build strong relationships with families and members promoting activities gathering feedback and responding to inquiries
- Ensure all activities comply with club safety protocols maintaining equipment and facilities
- Assist in managing program budgets tracking expenses and making cost-effective decisions
- Maintain accurate records of program registrations attendance and feedback assisting in compiling reports and marketing
- Work with other departments to integrate family programming into overall club experience
