Job Requirements

  • completion of at least two years as a staff associate
  • completion of core training phase one as a staff associate
  • attendance at YoungLives trainings
  • participation in missionwide staff conference every four years
  • participation in additional training if necessary
  • attendance at regional training
  • pursuit of continuing educational opportunities including graduate degrees
  • college degree preferred
  • completion of training as determined by supervisor

Job Duties

  • develop and sustain YoungLives ministries in the area
  • develop a yearly personal spiritual growth plan
  • seek and maintain relationships in a church community
  • lead teams in spiritual development
  • ensure ministry is prayer dependent
  • meet with mentors and volunteer leaders regularly
  • assist in recruiting and training volunteers
  • attend area leadership meetings
  • train committee and volunteers for teamwork
  • model excellence in ministry activities
  • train teams for yearly ministry strategy
  • raise financial support and maintain donor care
  • communicate updates to donor partners
  • develop strategic community relationships
  • plan and execute fundraising events
  • partner with area director to build sub-committee
  • engage in contact work, club, Campaigners and camp activities
  • lead outreach meetings and Campaigners
  • lead summer camping strategy
  • serve on summer assignments
  • adhere to policies and maintain professionalism
  • enforce health and safety policies
  • manage finances responsibly
  • maintain accurate ministry records
  • communicate professionally
  • set and review strategic ministry plans
  • perform assigned duties
  • accept project assignments
