Job Requirements

  • Completion of at least two years as a Staff Associate
  • Completion of phase one of Core Training as a Staff Associate
  • Attendance at YoungLives training as directed
  • Participation in missionwide staff conferences
  • Commitment to Young Life’s Statement of Faith
  • Adherence to Young Life’s policies and procedures
  • Ability to work part-time in the Midland, Texas area
  • College degree preferred
  • Completion of supervisor-determined training
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs

Job Duties

  • Lead spiritual development activities including prayer, fellowship, and church relationships
  • Develop and implement a yearly personal growth plan
  • Recruit, train, and support mentors, childcare workers, and volunteers
  • Attend and contribute to area leadership meetings
  • Raise financial support and maintain donor relationships
  • Organize and execute ministry events and campaigns
  • Lead outreach, club, Campaigners meetings, and camping activities
  • Manage ministry finances, administration, and communication
  • Maintain accurate records on participants and donors
  • Develop strategic ministry plans and review progress regularly
