Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 0-1 year of restaurant experience
  • 18+ years of age
  • food handlers must have the required food handler's certificate or complete basic food safety training course within 60 days
  • alcohol handlers must complete Responsible Vendor Beverage Awareness training within 30 days of employment

  • High school diploma

  • able to communicate effectively in English with supervisors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
  • able to work effectively and relate well with others including supervisors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
  • able to do basic arithmetic including subtraction, addition, division, multiplication and counting of items
  • able to analyze and solve problems efficiently
  • able to read and understand written information

Job Duties

  • Greeting each guest with a smile
  • first to talk to guests to take their orders
  • suggest other items to the guest
  • physically energetic and enthusiastic
  • must demonstrate a sense of urgency to ensure guests are taken care of quickly and efficiently
  • handle cash and credit card transactions including Disney Snack Plan and room charges
  • follow HACCP guideline
  • work as a team
  • must have full menu knowledge
  • understand the company procedure about allergies
  • responsible for their drawer
  • reconcile their drawer
  • answer questions from guests on food items
  • work off bump screen to fill orders
  • fill and refill accessories and utensils at start of shift and all during working hours
  • organize the order and give it to guests in a smooth and prompt manner
  • portion food by using food scale, plate and prepare and/or warm foods
  • keep kitchen organized by supporting clean sanitary work areas per food safety rules
  • prepare and keep all backstage support areas stocked with plates, utensils, napkins, condiments, sauces, ice
  • inspect all food items for freshness and bring questionable food to the manager's attention
  • follow personal hygiene procedures for food handler
  • must follow FL State alcoholic beverage service and Responsible Vendor laws
  • maintain product within safe service guidelines including receiving, storage, preparation and time/temperature holding
  • see something unsafe report it
  • follow company handbooks and procedures
  • perform other duties as asked
  • follow kiosk operational sanitation procedures including periodic assigned cleaning schedules
