Job Requirements
- Must be qualified on NORAC operating rules, air brake, train handling (AMT-3), and safety instruction for T&E (AMT-5)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Pass pre-employment background check including drug screening and criminal history check
- Consent to drug and alcohol testing per DOT regulations
- Must meet federal security clearance requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be qualified on NORAC operating rules, air brake, train handling (AMT-3), and safety instruction for T&E (AMT-5)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Associates degree in transportation or equivalent education, training, and work experience preferred
- Some experience in train operations preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee assigned yard operations including employee and train movements
- Coordinate equipment setup with Mechanical Department and CNOC
- Ensure employees are fit and crews report with the required number of members
- Manage train make-up and dispatch trains at prescribed times
- Monitor safety compliance within the yard
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Enforce operational policies and procedures
