Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months experience in a construction and/or construction products related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Forklift and loader certification or ability to complete certification after hire
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb to heights of 125 feet
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including late or irregular hours
  • Must have reliable attendance
  • Must abide by company safety program and policies
  • Must be mechanically inclined to support maintenance
  • Must be capable of learning computerized batch systems
  • Must distinguish between safe and unsafe work conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months experience in a construction and/or construction products related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Previous experience operating construction machinery or equipment such as forklift, pallet loaders, lift truck, and front-end loader is preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Forklift and loader certification or ability to complete certification after hire
  • Mechanically inclined with ability to support maintenance roles
  • Good sense of detail and safety awareness
  • Ability to learn and operate a computerized batch processing system
  • Flexible to work late or irregular hours during busy seasons

Job Duties

  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant through maintenance, inspection and repair of equipment and operating conditions
  • Perform daily cleaning of areas by sweeping and maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Load product and materials and assure appropriate tickets are written for orders according to requirements
  • Operate front-end loader or forklift as required
  • Work with appropriate personnel to identify and plan daily operations
  • Observe batching activities to assure proper amount of concrete is being batched
  • Perform other duties as assigned
