Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of driving experience, or internal candidate with good performance record
  • Ability to work assigned schedules including overtime
  • Valid non-commercial driver’s license
  • Compliance with state licensing and certification requirements
  • Clean motor vehicle report for past three years
  • Successful completion of post offer drug test and criminal background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 6+ months driving experience
  • Internal candidates may be promoted with less than 6 months experience with good performance record
  • Must be able to work scheduled, assigned times and required overtime
  • Valid non-commercial driver's license
  • Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
  • Clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Job Duties

  • Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies
  • Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks
  • Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities
  • Requires local city driving
  • Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always
  • Completes all required documentation
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
