Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant cooking experience
  • Prior banquet cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work in a marine environment
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Strong physical stamina for standing and moving for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of line cook experience
  • Prior banquet cook experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
  • Ability to prepare a variety of dishes including main courses, desserts, and appetizers
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail in food quality and presentation

Job Duties

  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • Monitor ingredient levels, restock their station with necessary supplies, and communicate shortages to management
  • Cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, etc.
  • Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
  • Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
  • Ensure that all food meets the establishment's standards for taste, quality, and presentation
  • Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient order preparation and smooth service
