Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent preferred but not necessary
- ability to lift 50 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
- ability to walk or stand for significant periods
- ability to reach, handle, feel, talk, hear, and see
- willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policies and pre-employment substance abuse testing
Job Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year cleaning experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
Job Duties
- clean rooms/suites, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows/tracks
- report rooms as clean and available
- report maintenance deficiencies to maintain room compliance with hotel standards
- strip dirty linens and towels and remove used amenities
- maintain housekeeping cart stocked
- greet guests with friendly and sincere acknowledgment
- replenish linen and guest amenities
- clean balconies, if applicable
- respond to special guest requests
- provide customer service to guests including information about hotel services, activities, and local attractions
- assist co-workers as requested
