Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of accredited medical assistant or BOTP program
  • Valid Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO/BMO) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
  • Obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 3 months
  • Obtain Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months
  • Ability to work flexible hours Monday through Sunday 8am-8pm
  • Minimum one year clinical experience in patient care
  • Ability to use EHR systems

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or completion of an approved BOTP program
  • Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO/BMO) license in state of residency
  • Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment
  • Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 3 months of employment
  • Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment
  • Minimum one year clinical experience in patient care setting
  • Experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is beneficial

Job Duties

  • Take vital signs
  • Collect lab specimens
  • Perform EKGs
  • Administer IM injections
  • Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider's orders and update patient charts
  • Collect patient history and document electronic health records appropriately
  • Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out, including chart auditing
  • Maintain records and logs on clinical activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and labs sent to external facilities
  • Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress
