Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications or a relevant field
- five years working in radio and or television preferably in a supervisory capacity
- valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- ability to maintain 24-hour availability
- relevant experience and ability may be substituted for the educational requirement

Job Duties
- Creates a monthly broadcast schedule
- determines and implements programming format for daily broadcast
- approves daily work schedules for part-time announcers
- recommends candidates for hiring as station announcers
- supervises all station radio announcers
- consults with Program Assistant on and approves daily programming logs including necessary deletions, additions, revisions, and scheduling of special programming events
- coordinates station repairs with the consulting engineer in cooperation with the Station Manager
- coordinates scheduling of features, sports events, remote broadcasts, live specials, and other special events
- develops and implements new programs in coordination with managers and host personnel
- prepares and submits weekly reports and other required documents as directed by the Station Manager
- provides required data to Station Manager for annual station audit and grant survey
- works with station staff, consultants, students, and volunteers to manage station's social media presence and strategy
- oversees and manages FTP site
- performs other duties as assigned
