The position at Hersheypark Camping Resort is for a part-time team member responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the campground grounds. This role focuses on cleaning bathhouses, cabins, and various interior and exterior public spaces. The team member will also be involved in miscellaneous maintenance tasks such as picking up trash, cleaning fire pits, doing dishes and laundry, and assisting with guest site escorts when needed. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older on the date of applying
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive a golf cart and company vehicles as needed
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, sun exposure, and inclement weather
- Physical ability to stand for up to five hours at a time, walk, bend at the waist and knees, have repeated manual dexterity, climb ladders, reach above shoulder level, and push, pull, and lift up to 60 pounds without assistance
- Must provide proper footwear (closed toe shoe)
- Ability to safely use chemicals in and around the workplace meeting OSHA standards
- Ability to operate handheld/small tools, power equipment, and cleaning equipment
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older on the date of applying

- General knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning protocols, and guest relations
- Must have high attention to detail and be well organized
- Must be friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with guests in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignments
- Must have the ability to comprehend instructions (verbal, demonstrated, and/or written) and retain information
Job Duties
- Detailed cleaning of bathhouses, cabins and interior/exterior public spaces
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Picking up trash around cabins and sites
- Cleaning fire pits
- Doing dishes and laundry
- Provide guest site escort as needed by front desk team
- Miscellaneous tasks such as power washing and line painting
- Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
