Hersheypark Camping Resort is a charming campground situated just a few miles from the famous Hersheypark amusement park. This campground offers a variety of accommodations including log and deluxe cabins, tent sites, and sites with partial and full hookups. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older on the date of applying
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive a golf cart and company vehicles as needed
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, sun exposure, and inclement weather
- Physical ability to stand for up to five hours at a time, walk, bend at the waist and knees, have repeated manual dexterity, climb ladders, reach above shoulder level, and push, pull, and lift up to 60 pounds without assistance
- Must provide proper footwear (closed toe shoe)
- Ability to safely use chemicals in and around the workplace meeting OSHA standards
- Ability to operate handheld/small tools, power equipment, and cleaning equipment
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older on the date of applying
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have the ability to drive a golf cart and company vehicles as needed
- General knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning protocols, and guest relations
- Must have high attention to detail and be well organized
- Must be friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with guests in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignments
- Must have the ability to comprehend instructions (verbal, demonstrated, and/or written) and retain information
Job Duties
- Detailed cleaning of bathhouses, cabins and interior/exterior public spaces
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Picking up trash around cabins and sites
- Cleaning fire pits
- Doing dishes and laundry
- Provide guest site escort as needed by front desk team
- Miscellaneous tasks such as power washing and line painting
- Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
