Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • two or more years of experience in sales or administrative roles
  • proficiency with MS Office software
  • experience using SalesForce or CRM technology
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • familiarity with telecommuting software such as Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • reside in the Pacific Coast Time Zone
  • willingness to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Job Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in sales or administrative roles
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • BA/BS degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain meticulous records of sales data and customer interactions
  • analyze trends to inform strategic decision-making and enhance performance
  • generate reports and assist in tracking territory activities including Salesforce and Power BI documentation
  • provide comprehensive administrative support to the Sales Team including managing payroll and coordinating Scholastic Book Fair events
  • issue customer service credits as needed
  • prepare meeting presentations and follow-up notes
  • manage marketing materials for effective promotional activities
  • act as a liaison between the Sales Team and other departments facilitating communication and collaboration
  • attend and document all territory meetings for information dissemination
  • interact with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • route customers to appropriate personnel when necessary
  • contribute to motivating and building a positive working environment including scheduling and team building activities
  • stay abreast of current sales processes and expectations
  • demonstrate ability to work effectively in situations involving shifting priorities and rapid change
