Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Multi-year cooking experience especially in Thai cuisine
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume kitchens
- Ability to operate and maintain three chamber gas wok
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work full-time with overtime
- Willingness to adhere to sanitation and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Proven cooking experience including line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook
- Ability to follow directions for preparing, cooking, and plating using Three Chamber Gas Wok
- Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks and following recipes
- Familiarity with industry's best practices
Job Duties
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
- Cook menu items in coordination with kitchen staff
- Answer, report, and follow chef's instructions
- Ensure food quality and timely delivery
- Maintain clean, organized, and stocked work area
- Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations
