Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Multi-year cooking experience especially in Thai cuisine
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume kitchens
  • Ability to operate and maintain three chamber gas wok
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work full-time with overtime
  • Willingness to adhere to sanitation and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Proven cooking experience including line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook
  • Ability to follow directions for preparing, cooking, and plating using Three Chamber Gas Wok
  • Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks and following recipes
  • Familiarity with industry's best practices

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
  • Cook menu items in coordination with kitchen staff
  • Answer, report, and follow chef's instructions
  • Ensure food quality and timely delivery
  • Maintain clean, organized, and stocked work area
  • Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations
