Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- bartending training and certification
- TIPS certification
- minimum 2 years of experience in a similar job
- ability to lift, push, pull and carry 20-40 lbs daily
- ability to bend and assist in serving
- mobility to cover 95 percent of the shift in all outlet areas
- ability to read, speak and write English
- ability to accurately count cash and operate cash register
- high level of organization and multitasking ability
- strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Circulate through the assigned area, recommend and serve wine to guests
- manage the daily activities necessary for maintenance and promotion of the organization’s wine collection
- ring guest checks, collect cash and process credits and room charges in accordance with company policies and procedures
- increase revenue by training team members to up-sell and other suggestive procedures
- decrease expenses through proper handling of product and other suggestive procedures
- work with the culinary team to develop food and wine pairings
- identify and purchase wines for the organization
- monitor the conditions of the wine cellar, ensuring optimal storage
- follow and practice all alcoholic beverage laws, policies and regulations
- maintain a clean and safe work area
- perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction
- may perform other duties as assigned
