Job Requirements

  • Cooking and/or restaurant knowledge and experience helpful
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and balance for long periods
  • manual dexterity to handle kitchen utensils
  • ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally
  • ability to lift, move, and/or support up to 35 lbs
  • ability to work mid-October through mid-May
  • ability to pass a background check

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare and cook menu items
  • maintain a clean work area and assist with cleaning other areas of the Food and Beverage department
  • report issues to management regarding production levels, staff, and food/equipment safety
  • ensure proper staffing levels for efficient and safe service
  • make sure the kitchen is ready for service at opening and closed correctly at the end of the day
  • assign daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning lists and ensure they are followed correctly
  • assist in training staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented environment
  • support staff as needed, assisting with questions or issues
  • maintain a professional attitude towards guests and staff
  • promote safety by following safe practices and reporting any unsafe conditions or situations while on premise
