Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area, located just 16 miles from Boise, Idaho, offers a unique opportunity to work in a mountain environment while living near one of the most livable cities in the United States. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Bogus Basin is dedicated to providing affordable, accessible, and sustainable mountain recreation and education for the Treasure Valley community. Job Requirements
- Passionate about Bogus Basin’s mission
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and balance for long periods
- Manual dexterity to handle cash and operate POS and coffee equipment
- Availability to work mid-October through mid-May
- Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented setting
Job Qualifications
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation preferred but not required
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor
- Experience using POS systems advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Job Duties
- Quickly and efficiently prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks that meet quality standards
- Accurately and efficiently process guests’ transactions using POS terminals
- Help maintain stocking levels for all sale items including prepackaged food items
- Assist with cleaning the Espresso cart areas
- Maintain a professional attitude toward guests and staff
- Assist guests with questions or concerns, seeking help from a supervisor or manager when needed
- Resolve cash tills and perform all check-out functions daily
