Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience in restaurant or retail environment
- prefer some experience using a computer and register (POS) system
- show up to work on time, well-groomed with a clean uniform ready to work
- work well with others
- be self-motivated
- reliable and have a strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Work experience as a customer service rep or a cashier or in a similar role in sales
- basic PC knowledge
- familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
- good math skills
- strong communication and time management skills
- customer satisfaction-oriented
- high school diploma or GED
Job Duties
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
- collect payments whether in cash or credit
- issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
- cross-sell products
- resolve customer complaints, and provide relevant information
- greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- maintain clean and tidy areas
- track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
