Job Requirements
- Must have bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience
- Previous experience in beverage or hospitality sales
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to analyze data and industry trends
- Must be able to cultivate and grow customer relationships
- Geographic proximity to the assigned territory preferred
- Ability to operate technology tools such as MS Excel and email
- Must hold and maintain a Solicitor’s Permit
- Must comply with alcohol beverage laws and regulations
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, crouch, stoop and kneel
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs regularly and up to 65lbs occasionally
- Must maintain a business professional vehicle
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or two years sales experience
- Previous experience in beer, wine, spirits or hospitality industry
- Superior organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and curiosity about the industry
- Desire and ability to grow revenue in a territory of on and off premise accounts
- Ability to use technology including order entry, MS Excel, email and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with the assigned market and key accounts preferred
Job Duties
- Conduct daily in person sales calls with existing customers
- Assess customer needs and find solutions within our portfolio
- Prepare and execute sales presentations
- Maintain records of presentations and follow up accordingly
- Support and execute company priorities and sales objectives
- Utilize reports and data to ensure performance within the territory
- Communicate with sales management to overcome obstacles
- Conduct in-store tastings, staff trainings and events including evenings and weekends
- Comply with all laws and regulations governing the sale of alcoholic beverages
- Maintain a business professional personal vehicle
- Meet the requirements to hold and maintain a Solicitor’s Permit
- Work in an environment valuing individual performance and teamwork
