Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- 1 to 3 years of related experience
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- strong knowledge and passion for wine products
- ability to comply with local state and federal laws
- team player with strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- certificate from sommelier organization such as The Court of Master Sommeliers preferred
- strong customer service experience
- wine knowledge or wine industry experience
- experience in retail food catering or restaurant environment
Job Duties
- Demonstrate strong knowledge interest and passion for products and services associated with the role
- participate in on-going product and customer service training programs
- attend distributor trade shows as necessary
- understand and adhere to all relevant local state and federal laws and company policies
- ensure store and personal compliance with State Liquor Laws and company policies regarding alcohol
- maintain cleanliness of equipment tables utensils and floor
- visit competition regularly
- assist customers with beer wine liquor purchases by providing knowledgeable recommendations
- develop and execute merchandising and marketing programs to drive sales and profit margins
