Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a sommelier or related role in a high-end restaurant
- Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers level 1-3 or similar preferred
- Strong knowledge of Italian wines and food pairings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage inventory and sales data effectively
- Commitment to outstanding guest service and teamwork

- Extensive knowledge of Italian wines food pairings and industry trends
- Previous experience as a sommelier or in a high-end restaurant with a strong wine program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and train staff
- Strong organizational and inventory management abilities
- Passion for hospitality attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain a well-balanced wine list working with distributors and vendors to source high-quality wines
- Engage with guests to provide expert wine recommendations educate them on varietals and enhance their overall dining experience
- Conduct regular wine education sessions for the service team to ensure they can confidently discuss and recommend wines
- Manage wine inventory track sales and optimize cost efficiency while maintaining a diverse and appealing selection
- Ensure proper storage handling and serving techniques to maintain wine quality and consistency
- Assist in organizing and executing wine tastings pairing dinners and special events to enhance brand engagement
