Job Requirements
- Ability to speak read and understand basic English
- ability to read and interpret reports policies and procedures
- ability to write reports and effectively present information to management and guests
- ability to calculate discounts commissions percentages and basic measurements
- ability to apply common-sense reasoning adapt to changes and work with moderate supervision
- intermediate to advanced computer skills including email internet word processing spreadsheets databases and internal systems
- Bachelor’s degree or 12–24 months of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid driver’s license insurable driving record and proof of auto insurance required
- ability to perform heavy physical activity including standing walking lifting carrying pushing pulling and reaching
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and 100 lbs with assistance
- manual dexterity and visual acuity sufficient for wine service and retail operations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 12–24 months of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- previous experience in wine retail tasting rooms or multi-brand sales preferred
- solid wine knowledge and passion for wine sales and hospitality
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- intermediate to advanced computer skills including email internet word processing spreadsheets databases and internal systems
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- valid driver’s license insurable driving record and proof of auto insurance required
Job Duties
- Deliver a consistently high-end yet approachable hospitality experience for all guests
- drive wine sales and wine club memberships through personalized guest interactions
- conduct engaging wine tastings sharing wine knowledge passion and education
- serve as the primary source of wine-related customer service
- support daily operations including wine-by-the-glass service and tastings
- stock shelves open bottles pour wines and maintain the sales floor
- build rapport with customers and follow up via email and phone to drive repeat sales
- assist with fulfillment management systems updates and event planning execution
- support revenue goals and take a leadership role in wine sales throughout the location
