Job Requirements

  • Ability to speak read and understand basic English
  • ability to read and interpret reports policies and procedures
  • ability to write reports and effectively present information to management and guests
  • ability to calculate discounts commissions percentages and basic measurements
  • ability to apply common-sense reasoning adapt to changes and work with moderate supervision
  • intermediate to advanced computer skills including email internet word processing spreadsheets databases and internal systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or 12–24 months of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • valid driver’s license insurable driving record and proof of auto insurance required
  • ability to perform heavy physical activity including standing walking lifting carrying pushing pulling and reaching
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and 100 lbs with assistance
  • manual dexterity and visual acuity sufficient for wine service and retail operations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 12–24 months of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • previous experience in wine retail tasting rooms or multi-brand sales preferred
  • solid wine knowledge and passion for wine sales and hospitality
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • intermediate to advanced computer skills including email internet word processing spreadsheets databases and internal systems
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • valid driver’s license insurable driving record and proof of auto insurance required

Job Duties

  • Deliver a consistently high-end yet approachable hospitality experience for all guests
  • drive wine sales and wine club memberships through personalized guest interactions
  • conduct engaging wine tastings sharing wine knowledge passion and education
  • serve as the primary source of wine-related customer service
  • support daily operations including wine-by-the-glass service and tastings
  • stock shelves open bottles pour wines and maintain the sales floor
  • build rapport with customers and follow up via email and phone to drive repeat sales
  • assist with fulfillment management systems updates and event planning execution
  • support revenue goals and take a leadership role in wine sales throughout the location
