Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hospitality or beverage service is preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as wine bottles
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of wine and sake is a plus
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in beverage service or wine cellar preferred
- Knowledge of wine and sake varieties and proper handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Provide friendly courteous and efficient service to all guests with making eye contact smiling and maintaining proper posture
- Keep sommelier station stocked with wine sake premium wine glasses and wine tools necessary for each service
- Get bottles of wine sake to sommeliers for tables having wine sake service in a timely manner
- Restock cellar when needed before during and end of service
- Restock bars at the beginning and end of dinner service
- Put away new wines in storage and notify Head Sommelier when items are 86ed and or low
- Maintain stock in proper order as to procedural guidelines set forth by Head Sommelier
