Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hospitality or beverage service is preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as wine bottles
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of wine and sake is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in beverage service or wine cellar preferred
  • Knowledge of wine and sake varieties and proper handling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly courteous and efficient service to all guests with making eye contact smiling and maintaining proper posture
  • Keep sommelier station stocked with wine sake premium wine glasses and wine tools necessary for each service
  • Get bottles of wine sake to sommeliers for tables having wine sake service in a timely manner
  • Restock cellar when needed before during and end of service
  • Restock bars at the beginning and end of dinner service
  • Put away new wines in storage and notify Head Sommelier when items are 86ed and or low
  • Maintain stock in proper order as to procedural guidelines set forth by Head Sommelier
