Job Requirements
- Alignment with Cooper's Hawk values
- must be at least 21 years of age
- a true passion for guest service, food, and wine
- physical ability to stand and walk for long durations and lift up to 40 pounds
- capable of fulfilling essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience in dining or retail sales preferred
- knowledge of wine or related experience is a plus
- excellent communication skills with guests and coworkers
- comfortable engaging and educating guests on the Wine Club
- familiarity with POS systems
- a team player who thrives in collaborative environments
- able to multitask and handle a fast-paced setting with poise
- fluent in reading, writing, and understanding English
Job Duties
- Welcome all guests with warmth and hospitality
- engage them by answering questions about food, wine, the Wine Club, and facilities
- maintain comprehensive knowledge of Cooper's Hawk food offerings, retail items, wines, and Wine Club events
- proactively build guest relationships and create an unforgettable experience
- actively educate guests about the Wine Club and its benefits while inviting them to become members
- familiarize yourself with Tasting Room functions, wine tastings, and pricing
- support Host and Service Assistant roles when needed
- serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and legal requirements
- assist with delivering Carryout and Curbside orders to guests
- recognize and seize opportunities to sell Tasting Room products
- stock wines and retail merchandise appealingly in the Tasting Room
- ensure a safe, sanitary, organized, and well-stocked workspace
- complete side work during slower periods
- handle cash transactions efficiently with the POS system
- follow checklists and standard operating procedures for smooth operations
- perform additional duties as assigned
