Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in food and beverage management
- Strong knowledge of wine and beverage programs
- Ability to manage and lead a front of house team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure

Job Duties
- Manage and direct activities of all front of house staff of Barking Frog, Fireside Lounge, and Room Service
- Primary management of daily floor operation of Barking Frog with secondary management of Fireside Lounge
- Manage Barking Frog floor during service to ensure highest delivery of guest service
- Manage the wine programs of Willows Lodge
- Recruit and train front of house staff members
- Establish goals and standards for performance management to maximize productivity of front of house staff
- Coach, counsel, and discipline Barking Frog and Fireside Lounge front of house staff members
- Ensure all front of house staff receive rest and meal periods
- Create and deliver performance reviews according to company schedule
- Research new developments to incorporate into food and beverage menus
- Foster and maintain relationships with wine distributors and purveyors
- Create and manage wine lists for all outlets including Barking Frog, Fireside Lounge, Catering, and Room Service
- Create wine and food pairings for all outlets
- Execute monthly beverage inventory and weekly beverage order with Fireside Lounge manager
- Manage receiving and organization of daily wine deliveries
- Sell wine and spirits during service to maximize revenue
- Deliver wine education to front of house staff
- Create and deliver special wine presentations for guests
- Direct and manage guest recovery opportunities
- Serve as liaison between front of house staff and back of house leadership
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings
- Work closely with Director of Food and Beverage to meet or exceed budgetary goals
- Represent hotel as Manager on Duty in absence of Rooms Management
- Attend and participate in leadership, operations, and food and beverage meetings
