Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Comfortable with repetitive motions such as walking, bending, and standing
- Knowledgeable of the restaurant and entertainment industry
- Deep desire to be part of something bigger than themselves
- Must have a list of regulars
- Full schedule availability
- Ability to take constructive criticism and work well in a team dynamic
Job Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in a Los Angeles restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of Old and New World wine regions, producers, and vintages
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to mentor and educate team members about wine
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of beverage program management
- Ability to perform wine service at professional standards
Job Duties
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, attentive wine service for guests
- Act professionally and maintain composure
- Identify and report problems to management immediately
- Be aware of service flow, dining timing, and adjust for individual guest needs
- Implement and follow steps of service
- Oversee activities of your team in the station
- Maintain a clean, well-organized wine cellar
