Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Comfortable with repetitive motions such as walking, bending, and standing
  • Knowledgeable of the restaurant and entertainment industry
  • Deep desire to be part of something bigger than themselves
  • Must have a list of regulars
  • Full schedule availability
  • Ability to take constructive criticism and work well in a team dynamic

Job Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in a Los Angeles restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge of Old and New World wine regions, producers, and vintages
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to mentor and educate team members about wine
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of beverage program management
  • Ability to perform wine service at professional standards

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable, attentive wine service for guests
  • Act professionally and maintain composure
  • Identify and report problems to management immediately
  • Be aware of service flow, dining timing, and adjust for individual guest needs
  • Implement and follow steps of service
  • Oversee activities of your team in the station
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized wine cellar
