Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 21 years of age required
  • partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy
  • high school diploma or GED and five or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required
  • food handler certification required
  • TABC/LACT certification required

  • advanced knowledge of alcohol regulations and guidelines
  • advanced knowledge of beer and wine products
  • ability to read and operate bar equipment

  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Develops professional relationships with customers and provides education on beer and wine as well as food pairings
  • works with pricing department to ensure accuracy of price tags
  • maintains thorough knowledge on all beer, wine, and humidor offerings
  • maintains wine selection and provides management with input on requested wines/beers as well as top sellers
  • assists with product ordering according to clientele, specific season, promotions, etc.
  • works with category management personnel to ensure vendor pricing is accurate and reasonable
  • maintains appealing shelf displays and appropriate labeling of products according to company standards
