Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid MAST permit
- Valid food workers permit
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to setup and break down event spaces, including occasional transportation of materials
- Reliable transportation to event locations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Commitment to attend a minimum of two events per month
- Willingness to obtain TIPS certification if not already certified
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an event server or server in a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong knowledge of wine and spirits, including basic wine tasting and pairing techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid MAST permit
- Valid food workers permit
- TIPS certification or willingness to obtain
- Passion for wine and a desire to share that passion with others
- Can commit to 2 events per month when needed
- Age 21+
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Setup and breakdown of event space, can include transportation of materials to event
- Provide exceptional service to guests during events, including wine and food service
- Engage customers in storytelling about wineries and WeRise Wines accurately representing the brand
- Possess strong knowledge of wine to provide excellent recommendations and storytelling
- Efficiently serve food and beverages, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, even under pressure
- Work collaboratively with the event team to ensure seamless execution
