Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months or less of related work experience
- ability to follow written verbal or diagrammatic instructions
- ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions decimals and percentages
- ability to file post and mail materials and provide basic direction
- physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- ability to perform physical activities including climbing balancing stooping kneeling reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting grasping feeling talking hearing and repetitive motions
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- availability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications

- ability to file post and mail materials copy data from one record to another and provide basic direction
- strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- knowledge of wine and spirits products is a plus
Job Duties
- Provides prompt efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names
- assists customers by escorting them to products securing products loading or unloading heavy items making note of customer suggestions
- answers the telephone promptly and provides helpful service
- stocks rotates and faces product on shelves
- supervises and assigns work for evening and part time crew
- ensures department standards are met and handles customer issues
- trains new employees
- reviews out of stocks ad items and back stock
- orders merchandise as directed and controls inventory
- monitors sales regularly
- meets with vendors to get point of purchase materials
- oversees intercom selling and prices items for displays
- makes sales suggestions and ideas to department manager
- understands and practices proper sanitation procedures
- maintains strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- adheres to company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work when scheduled and on time
