  • advanced wine or sommelier certificate
  • minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in wine or hospitality industry

Job Duties

  • prepare daily lesson plans and teach classes as scheduled
  • administer lectures and hands-on classes on campus, off campus, or remotely
  • advise students needing extra help or career guidance
  • provide regular and constructive feedback to students
  • evaluate and document student performance
  • submit course grades promptly
  • compile and present instructional material according to syllabi and schedules
  • maintain student attendance and progress records
  • maintain discipline during instructional activities
  • develop requisitions and maintain inventory for curriculum supplies
  • communicate through appropriate channels
  • enforce sanitation and academic policies
  • manage institute equipment and facilities
  • support the education department's strategic direction
  • assume classroom equipment responsibility
  • perform additional duties as assigned
