Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Seek opportunities to welcome, engage, serve and thank customers
  • produce bakery products for retail stores
  • operate and clean equipment and work area
  • package all fresh products following packaging and handling procedures
  • ensure quality of goods by following code
  • mix icing or other toppings by scaling and measuring ingredients
  • dump icing or other toppings into large storage containers
  • set-up cakes by preparing layers and applying icing
  • ice cakes by combining icing and placing decorations
  • package cakes in boxes
  • label bakery items by inputting data and applying labels
  • display products appealingly using FIFO for rotation
  • take orders by phone and in person
  • personalize cakes with customer wording
  • face merchandise
  • maintain enthusiastic customer service
  • engage in suggestive selling and sales techniques
  • display goods by following packaging and handling procedures
  • assist customers with inquiries regarding products and orders
  • ensure quality by following code dating and legal labeling regulations
  • maintain inventory by informing manager and filling production sheets
  • produce breads and rolls by mixing, setting up racks, operating machines, and baking
  • clean work area using cleaning tools
  • produce croissants by folding, proofing and baking
  • open and close bakery according to procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned or needed
