Job Requirements
- FAA commercial single-engine land (SEL) pilot certificate
- Instrument rating
- FAA Class I or Class II medical certification
- Minimum of 2000 flight hours (SEL) including verifiable low-level flight experience
- Tailwheel endorsement with at least 200 hours of logged tailwheel time
- Ability to pass flight interview with the AGFD Chief Pilot
- Completion of post-offer medical/physical examination
- Ability to meet driver's license requirements if driving is essential
- Must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify)
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of FAA regulations and their applications
- Skilled in low level flight and aircraft maneuvering
- Ability to communicate with Air Traffic Control
- Ability to work with diverse personalities and mission profiles
- Capability to fly internationally into Mexico
Job Duties
- Operates single engine land aircraft, responsible for inspecting aircraft flight and maintenance records for compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations
- Prepares all paperwork required by AGFD and Aviation Section
- Assists with cleaning of aircraft and general maintenance of hangar and office facilities
- Serves as chief pilot in his/her absence
- Performs other duties as assigned
