Job Requirements

  • A four-year degree in Food and Beverage management, hospitality management or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • At least 5 years fine dining experience
  • Must have extensive wine knowledge
  • Previous experience in Food and Beverage Operations
  • At least 5 years Food and Beverage management experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time and lift up to 10 pounds

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the overall management and maintenance of service levels for assigned restaurant
  • Network with other departments to ensure effective operation of the restaurant
  • Ensure that all employees are properly trained and establish accountability for maintaining the highest service standards
  • Establish and maintain effective department procedures and controls and ensure compliance
  • Manage staffing levels and scheduling to match business volume and manage labor costs
  • Prepare budgets, operating forecasts, variance reports, and other departmental reports
  • Ensure proper sanitation procedures and maintenance of all equipment, furniture and fixtures
  • Ensure guests are seated and served timely with warm, friendly, efficient and courteous service
  • Ensure fine dining techniques are practiced at all times within the restaurant
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge in wine selection and ensure the wine list aligns with the menu and trends
  • Take responsibility for consistently meeting revenue and profitability goals
  • Develop and adhere to the annual department budget
