Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • basic food handling and safety knowledge

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a food preparation or kitchen role is an advantage
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • Prepare food according to designated work stations and prep list
  • assume 100% responsibility for quality of products used and food served
  • prepare all menu items in accordance with recipe guidelines and par levels following portion and quality standards, kitchen rules and policies and procedures
  • prepare all ingredients needed for designated station daily following chef’s prep and par lists
  • maintain a clean kitchen within company and state standards at all times including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment
  • prepare items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating
  • follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes according to directions
