Job Requirements
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
- Frequent immersion of hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to comply with drug-free workplace policies
Job Qualifications
- Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- Previous experience in a similar utility or custodial role preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with safety and security protocols in a food service environment
Job Duties
- Cleans equipment including work tables, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other kitchen equipment
- Cleans utensils, pots and pans by handwashing or using dishwashing machines
- Returns clean utensils, pots and pans to proper storage locations
- Removes trash and garbage to designated disposal areas
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and buffs floors using heavy cleaning equipment
- Cleans walls, windows and steam cleans trashcans
- Stocks, dates, rotates, and checks the temperature of products
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck
- Loads and unloads supply trucks
- Follows all security and safety procedures established by the company
